Booty bands are a small resistance band loop which are used to increase the effectiveness of lower body exercises specifically to target your glutes. They look like an over-sized rubber band and come in a variety of tension strengths.  

SECONDLY- WHY SHOULD I USE THEM?

Simply put, adding these resistance bands to your workout will increase the activation of your butt muscles. We aren't going to sugar coat it, you will feel the burn - but that's how you know it's working the muscles and achieving results.

What's even better is that they help with rehabilitation and perfecting your squat technique, providing  more stability and overall improvement in the functionality of the knees when using the bands. When using them they prevent the knee from buckling in on your squat, ensuring correct technique and less risk of injury.
